Ken will work with you to devise a sensible follow-up plan to focus your efforts once you've left Lucky 2 Ranch. And Ken is as close as a phone call or email for any questions you have when back on your home turf.
Equimersion - The Program
Any experienced equestrian will tell you that horsemanship is a life-long endeavor. Most great horsemen and women measure themselves by what they don't know rather than what they do know. The Equimersion goes beyond horseback riding lessons to provide a solid foundation on which to build the skills you need for your horse rider safety and enjoyment around horses. The information provided here can be used in any horse interaction, horsemanship clinic, riding clinic or learning situation in the future.
During your one- or two-week session, you will:
- Learn Horse psychology and the behavior of horses
- Deal with any fear from horses you've experienced in the past
- Find out how to be safe around horses
- Learn riding in a balanced, confident manner
- Learn the basics of horse care and the responsibilities of ownership
